About
CabbageWise
A single event can awaken within us a stranger totally unknown to us. To live is to be slowly born.
CabbageWise explores strategies that trigger thinking skills. The motivation, through sharing stories and courses of action that enrich thinking, is to develop conditions that promote vibrant life and work. It all began with a speech.I was illustrating a certain single event in a self development club, called A.M.Akron Toastmasters . I almost named my speech, My Secret Life with an Injured Brain. But that sounded like a novel, much too long for a seven minute speech. My visual aid was a cabbage, well several cabbages. The aftermath of that unforgettable illustration has formed the catalyst to drive me into the realm of writing. I have never been a writer, I never intended to write, and I know not where writing will take me. It seems the essential thing to do while retraining my brain.
The concept of retraining my brain to work as a whole, has become a signature and my platform. I hope that it will spark sharper thinking and feed bright ideas that improve lives.
Experiencing imaginative thinking strategies makes you feel like a gen!us.

[this blog is not a substitute for medical advice. I am a person with some stories to share about my adventures in life and about meeting obstacles head-on. Through the help of family, a Neuropsychologist , and friends, I have used my tenacity and creativity to get beyond some limitations, both physical and self-imposed.]
